A Little History of Cherington and Stourton, Warwickshire Picture Galleries Photo Album Home Home page

This field in that part of the village known as Little Cherington  (defined on the Villages page) leads down to Cherington Mill, on the Stour. Beyond is Cherington Hill, splashed with yellow oilseed rape flower. When the photograph was taken in 2003, the buildings visible on the top belonged to a farm  and included what had been known as “Jack Bourne’s cottage” (pictured below). Not long after, the site was sold and a designer mansion built.
