A Little History of Cherington and Stourton, Warwickshire
Snowflight - February 5, 2009

Cheringtonian Dudley Gray was something of a novice in the art of remote-controlled aerial photography when early in 2009 he decided to fly his model aeroplane, with camera, up over the snow-blanketed landscape near his home. Nevertheless, he still managed to capture these views of Cherington and Stourton, the like of which, despite global aerial mapping being available on the Internet, many people will never have seen.
Sadly, just a year later, "Supadud", as he was known to fellow enthusiasts, passed away at the early age of 39. May these images be a simple memorial to his creativity in widely differing spheres, which enriched both his own short life and the life of those who came into contact with him. R.I.P.
